The Moonsisterhood is celebrated on the Friday closest to the Full Moon and the Monday closest to the New Moon. The Temple of Bes brings its heart to the night: we set up the altar, light the circle, and the Adara Orinsé guide the movement. It is the space where feminine energy is protected, celebrated, and expanded under the light of Tanit.

The mission of the Temple of Bes within this celebration is the same as when Bes protected Tanit:
to care for, support, and empower the feminine essence,
preparing it to manifest with strength.
The dance that follows the fire of the day… It is the harvest of what the Temple of Bes awakened.
THE STORY
According to the ancient legend, when the Romans arrived in Ibiza, they tried to dominate its temples and pursued Tanit to control her power. But Bes stepped in between Tanit and her attackers. He took her in his arms and carried her by boat to the hidden cliffs of the island, where the moon covered the sea with a silver veil. There, safe, Tanit was able to preserve her power and the feminine voice of the island.
This gesture forever marked the union between them:
