SOCIAL IMPACT
A portion of the profit generated by each event is reserved to have a social impact on the communities.
This phase is inseparable from IBOSIM and is based on permaculture. Real and meaningful long-term action for the land and its people.
Reforestation and forest cleaning
With the Temple of Bes, we promote forest cleanup, which involves improving and protecting the natural environment. This establishes a clear law for the Temple of Bes:
Before receiving, care is taken; before celebrating, protection is ensured; before dancing, the territory is cleansed. The ceremony is only activated after the host site has been cared for.
When the Temple of Bes ceremony concludes, a portion of the proceeds is set aside for reforestation. In the days following the event, our reforestation team manages the operation and directs the work, supported by volunteers.
Education (Permaculture)
When The Moonsisterhood ceremony concludes, a portion of the proceeds is used to fund permaculture classes for children. For a future with more forest, greater respect for the land, and stronger community, new generations must learn:
- How an ecosystem functions (soil, water, plants, insects, cycles)
- How to care for, regenerate, and be self-sufficient instead of consuming without returning to the cycle.
- Practice habits such as composting, seed starting, irrigation systems, gardening, and reusing materials.
